Tips and Tricks

When carving the motif, it is important to always work away from the body and hands. The carving tool is sharp and can quickly lead to injuries.
Clean all work equipment thoroughly with water after use.

How it is done:

The first step is to draw the motif with the two offset triangles on the soft printing plate using a pencil and a set square.
The plate is then cut with the cutting tool so that the triangles are raised.
Now pour the white and red Aqua Linol into a yogurt lid or similar flat container, pick it up with the foam roller and roll it onto the triangles. The stamp is then placed in the desired position on the wrapping paper and carefully pressed on. Then remove the plate again, apply more paint and design the entire paper.
Once the stamped triangles have dried, the color for the next layer is prepared. To do this, mix Aqua Linol in white and red in a container to create a pink.
Use a small foam brush to pick up the pink paint and dab small round noses between the triangles. Leave to dry well.
