Tips and Tricks

Paint the eye of the unicorn afterwards with a fine brush and black textile paint.

How it is done:

Before painting, wash the shirt without fabric softener to remove any finish residues. Leave to dry, then iron.
Next, use a soft pencil to draw the unicorn onto transfer paper.
Transfer the motif to the soft printing plate. Place the transfer paper with the painted side on the plate and transfer the pencil outlines by carefully stroking. The rounded wooden handle of the cutting tool is ideal for this.
Then cut out with the linoleum cutting tool so the surface of the design is raised.
Place a piece of cardboard or paper between the layers of the shirt to prevent the paint from soaking through. Apply the Textil Print paint to the foam roller and roll this onto the soft linoleum plate. Next, print the image onto the shirt. Allow the paint to fully dry.
Finally the unicorn can be coloured. Let everything dry well again.
Once the paint has dried, fix in the oven (8 minutes at 150 C). The shirt ist washable up to 40°C. Wash an iron printed fabrics inside out.
