ABC wall hanging with Marabu KiDS Textil Marker

Tips and Tricks
- The Marabu KiDS Textil Marker can also be used to paint shirts and the like. After drying and fixing the marker, it is washable up to 60°C.
How it is done:
- The first step is to draw the alphabet on the fabric with a Textil Marker. To protect the background, place some paper underneath. It is also important to leave enough free space at the top and bottom of the fabric so that the round sticks can be attached later.
Tip: The alphabet can easily be drawn on freehand. If you need a little help, you can also prepare the individual rows of letters on the computer first, print them out, place them under the fabric and trace the translucent letters.
- In the next step, the individual letters can be completed with the help of the Textil Marker with corresponding objects that begin with the letter. The paint should then dry well before continuing.
- Next, split the wooden stick in the middle using the handsaw. The edges of the saw can be smoothed with a little sandpaper.
- Now, to attach the wooden sticks to the fabric, first iron on some hem tape to the top and bottom edges on the back of the wall hanging using the iron.
- Then fold the wooden stick into the end of the fabric and iron the edge of the fabric firmly onto the back of the wall hanging.
- Finally, knot some cotton string to the top wooden stick so that the wall hanging can be hung.
