Side table made of coat hangers with Marabu GREEN alkyd paint
Worn-out clothes hangers don’t have to be thrown away just yet: A table made from old clothes hangers is a great upcycling project and definitely an eye-catcher on the balcony!

saw or side cutter
sand paper
cordless screwdriver
angle
screws
round wooden disc as table top
How it is done:
- Pinch off the hangers with the side cutters or saw them off with the saw. Sand the paint off the hangers so that the paint adheres better. Even if the coat hangers are not varnished, it makes sense to sand them lightly before applying the paint.
- Paint the hanger in two coats with the GREEN alkyd paint in cherry red and let the paint dry well.
- Screw the hangers together with the angles and the screws. The angles are always staggered in the middle of the coat hangers. This is how the table frame is created - simply place the round wooden plate on it as a table top.
