Tips and Tricks

Textiles that will be machine washed after painting (i.e. T-shirts, tops, etc.) should be machine washed prior to painting. New textiles usually have a finish that protects the fibers. The paint will not adhere to this finish.
When painting double-sided textiles (such as T-shirts, tops, pillows, etc.), place a piece of paper or cardboard between the front and back. Otherwise, paint may bleed through to the other side of the fabric.
Marabu KiDS Textile Markers are washable up to 60°C after fixing. To fix, allow the color to dry, then iron each painted area from the left for 3 minutes at cotton temperature or place the textiles in a pre-heated oven for 8 minutes at 150°C. Make sure that all accessories (zippers, buttons, etc.) are heat resistant.

How it is done:

Cover the work area and prepare materials.
The markers are ready to use and do not need to be inflated. Just remove the lid and you're ready to go.
The design can be practiced on a sheet of paper or applied directly to the fabric.
Decorate the hat as desired. After painting, let the paint dry.
