How it is done:

  • Prepare all materials. The wreath blank should be clean and dry for good paint adhesion. Cover the spray area well and protect the work area from paint mist. It is best to spray outdoors or provide adequate ventilation.
  • Carefully remove the actuator from the DO IT can and remove the red safety valve. Replace the actuator and cap and shake the can for 2-3 minutes. Spray the can onto cardboard/newsprint first to make sure there are no solids in the actuator.
  • Spray the wreath blank with the Stone Gray or White spray paint. Allow the paint to dry, then spray the wreath from the opposite side and allow to dry.
  • The eggs can now be carefully skewered on a wooden stick to make it easier to paint them from all sides. Using the DO IT Craft Paint and a medium brush from the GREEN Brush Set, paint the same number of eggs in one color. Place them in a cardboard box with the wooden skewers to dry. When dry, apply a second coat of paint for even coverage.
  • While the eggs are drying, one or two A4 pages can be painted on the front and back with the GREEN alkyd paint in Mistletoe if a white GREEN paper pad is used. Use a thick brush from the GREEN brush set and allow the paint to dry thoroughly. If you are using the Nature Mix paper pad, you can skip this step and remove two green pages from the pad.
  • Using a hot glue gun, place the painted eggs one at a time along the wreath blank. Alternate colors to create a harmonious look.
  • Now use the scissors to cut out leaves about 4-5 cm long from the green paper. These can vary slightly in size and shape to give a natural look.
  • Use the wire cutter to cut pieces of wire about 10-15 cm long. Apply a strip of hot glue to the center of the back of each leaf and glue one end of each piece of wire to it so that a leaf is glued to both sides of the wire.
  • The leaves can now be bent into a natural shape with the wire on the back. Place the leaves between the eggs and either bend them to the wreath blank with the wire or glue them on with hot glue.
  • Finally, use the white DO IT Craft Marker to make small dots on the eggs for extra charm and naturalness. Hang the wreath on a string.
