Tips and Tricks
- It is best to design only the underside of the longboard.
How it is done:
- Cover the work area well and prepare the materials. Clean the longboard if necessary and sand the underside a little if necessary. Remove the sanding dust well. The board should be clean, dry and dust-free before painting. If you wish, you can sketch out the motif with a pencil.
- Then shake the YONO marker with the cap closed for 60 seconds. The mixing ball in the marker will make a clacking sound. Slowly press the tip in several times on a piece of test paper until ink becomes visible. If the ink flow is activated, the tip will slowly fill up. When the tip is completely filled with ink, write the marker on the test paper.
- Then paint the motif onto the longboard. For an even application of paint, pump regularly. Allow the paint to dry.
- For better durability of the motif, we recommend painting the underside of the longboard with Marabu matt varnish. Shake the can thoroughly before use. Spray the motif evenly from a distance of approx. 30 cm. Then turn the can upside down and spray the standpipe empty until only gas comes out. Allow the paint to dry thoroughly on the board.
