Tips and Tricks

  • After painting, close the marker firmly with a clear click and store it horizontally.

How it is done:

  • Clean the records before painting them. They should be clean, dry and dust-free to allow the paint to adhere properly.
  • Before using the marker for the first time, shake it for 60 seconds with the cap closed and gently press the tip onto a piece of paper several times to activate the ink flow. When the tip is full of ink, write on a piece of test paper with the marker.
  • Then use the YONO marker to draw wavy lines directly onto the record. Pump regularly to ensure an even application of paint. Allow the ink to dry well.
  • Trace the wavy line a little finer with a second color. Let everything dry well before the last step.
  • Finally, use a third color to add a very broad line to the two waves. Let everything dry well.
