Skandi Christmas pendant with Marabu easy marble

How it is done:

• Cover the work surface and prepare the working materials.
• Roll out the air-drying modelling clay evenly on the base with the rolling pin.
• Cut out figures with the biscuit cutters.
• Now use the skewer to poke a hole at the top of the figurine, where you will later thread the ribbon through to hang the figurine.
• Now let the cut out figures harden. See manufacturer's instructions for drying time.
• Then fill the bucket or bowl with water and put on rubber gloves. Shake the marbling colours well. The white pigments in the easy marble pastel shades settle heavily at the bottom. It is best to remove the drip cap, stir the colours briefly with a wooden skewer and replace the drip cap. Keep all the jars open.
• Now drop a few drops of one shade directly from the dropper glass onto the surface of the water. Then add a few drops of crystal clear. You can also drop another colour onto the surface of the water. The colours can be combined as desired.
• Immediately after dripping, draw a marbling pattern in the paint layer with a wooden skewer.
• Slowly immerse the pendant in the water until it is completely submerged. To avoid colour overlays when pulling out, blow/wipe any paint residue on the water surface to the edge. Then quickly pull out the pendant and hang it up to dry.
• Repeat the whole process with different colour combinations with the other figures. Remove any paint residue from the water surface with paper before marbling the next pendant. Re-drop the paint for each dipping process.
• Finally, thread the ribbon through the hole and tie together.
