Painting stones with Marabu DO IT Craft Marker

How it is done:

• Clean and dry the stones. Smooth, clean bricks are best. If necessary, the stones can be primed with Marabu DO IT Craft Paint or Marabu DO IT Colorspray in white. Leave the primer to dry well.
• Use the DO IT Craft markers to design the basic shapes of fruit and vegetable motifs on the dry, clean bricks. For example, you can choose a triangle with rounded corners for a strawberry or a semicircle for a watermelon.
• Carefully colour in the basic shapes. Use different shades of DO IT Craft Marker to accentuate the different elements of the designs. Make sure that the colour is applied evenly and that there are no gaps. Allow the stones to dry briefly after colouring.
• Details are now added to the designs in white and black, such as the seeds on the strawberry or the seeds on the watermelon. These small details make the designs come alive and realistic.
