T-shirt “Waves” with Marabu Textil Painter
So simple and yet so special. Simply design a white T-shirt with Marabu Textile Painters. What a difference a few waves can make!

Tips and Tricks
- Always wash painted textiles inside out with a mild detergent. Do not place the iron directly on the painted surfaces; iron either inside out or covered with a cloth.
How it is done:
- Wash the shirt without fabric softener before painting to remove the finish. Allow the shirt to dry and iron.
- First, draw the wave pattern with a pencil on a sheet of paper.
- Then slide the template into the T-shirt and mask the area on the top of the T-shirt with masking tape to create a clean border around the wave motif.
- Now simply trace the wavy lines with Textile Painter. Allow to dry well. Then remove the tape.
- Allow the paint to dry (about 30 minutes), then iron for 3 minutes (30 x 30 cm) at cotton temperature without steam. Fixing can also be done in the oven at 150°C. This takes about 8 minutes (except for synthetics and blended fabrics).
- After fixing, the T-shirt can be machine washed at 60° C.
