Upcycling stool with Marabu DO IT Colorspray

These “wicked” tire stools are cool eye-catchers and comfortable seating at the same time. They can be painted with DO IT Colorspray to make them suitable for living. The matching seat cushions are quickly made.

Car tires

Cotton fabric

Foam

Wooden panels

How it is done:

Clean the tires well and let them dry.
Carefully remove the spray heads from the DO IT cans and remove the red safety valve. Replace the spray heads and caps and shake the cans for 2-3 minutes so that the color pigments are optimally distributed. Spray the cans on newspaper to ensure that no solids have settled in the valve.
Spray with DO ITColorspray in the various colors. Allow to dry well.
Measure the inside diameter of the car tire. Saw out a suitable round wooden plate using a jigsaw or have it sawn at a DIY store.
Saw the foam to fit the panel size with the electric knife.
Nun den Baumwollstoff ebenfalls passend zuschneiden und die Holzschaumstoffplatte damit beziehen, dabei einen Elektrotacker zu Hilfe nehmen.
