Tips and Tricks

  • If a little color goes astray, that's no problem. Marabu KiDS Little Artist can be washed out of most fabrics at 30°C and above.

How it is done:

  • Cover the work area and lay out the materials. Clean the walnuts prior to painting. They should be clean and dry.
  • First, use the Little Artist to paint a small window and door on the walnut. A small stroke with the flat brush will do. Set the walnut aside and let the paint dry.
  • Cut off a piece of a shipping box and carefully remove the top layer of paper. The corrugated cardboard should remain intact as it will be the roof of the little walnut. First prime the cardboard with KiDS Little Artist in White.
  • When dry, apply a golden coat of Marabu KiDS Finger Paint to the corrugated cardboard. The finger paint can be applied with a brush or directly with the fingers - the latter is much more fun! Leave the cardboard to dry.
  • In the meantime, use a fine pencil to draw the windows and doors. Next, cut out the roof and base of the walnut house.
  • Assemble and glue all the pieces together. Finished!
