These marine animals are completely harmless and perfectly suitable for playing. The funny crab, turtle and jellyfish are easy to make even for small children. You will only need egg carton, craft colour and a little help from an adult.

IT’S EASY WHEN YOU KNOW HOW!

The Marabu KIDS CRAFT PAINT provides good coverage, is easy to apply and dries quickly. It can be washed out of textilesagain from 30°C.

How it is done:

Use scissors to cut small parts from an egg carton which you will need for the animal’s body: In our example, these are a crab, a turtle and a jellyfish.
Paint these parts with craft colour. (You should first prime coloured egg carton with white – especially, if the carton is darker than the animal you want to create, as shown here for the crab.) Let the paint dry thoroughly. Then use a fine brush to draw dark green lines on the shell of the turtle.
Lightly sketch out the body parts – feet, head, claws – on a sheet of paper using a pencil, and cut them out to use as a template: Now draw each body part on craft paper of the respective colour, cut out neatly and stick to the egg carton body using glue. The tentacles of the jellyfish can be cut from craft paper in a spiral pattern.
