Marbled tins with Marabu easy marble as little Easter nests

How it is done:

• Remove the labels from the cans and deburr the can rim if necessary. Then clean the cans thoroughly. They should be clean, dry and dust-free. Then cover the work area well and also protect the work environment sufficiently from the spray mist of the paint. It is best to spray outside or provide sufficient ventilation. Have all working materials ready.
• Carefully pull the spray heads off the cans and remove the red safety valve. Replace the spray heads and caps and shake the cans for 2-3 minutes. Spray the cans onto newspaper first to check that there are no solids in the spray head. Then the cans can be sprayed to cover. Let everything dry well.
• Effect and white pigments in neon, metallic and pastel shades settle
  heavily to the bottom. You should therefore shake them well or remove the drip cap and briefly stir the paint. Keep open at the ready. Fill container with cold water.
• Drip the paints onto the surface of the water directly from the drip jar, one after another. A paint film forms.
• Instantly use a cocktail stick to create a marbled pattern in the paint film.
• Slowly lower the dipping object through the pattern into the water. The paint film floating on the surface of the water will wrap itself around the object. To prevent colours overlapping when pulling the object out, blow the remaining paint on the surface to the edges of the container. Next, remove the object quickly. Leave to dry. Done!
• Use a piece of paper to remove any residual paint from the surface of the water before marbling the next object. Add new droplets of paint for each new dipping process.
• Finally, fill the tin with coloured Easter grass and fill with small surprises such as chocolate bunnies, sugar eggs or Easter decorations.
