Tips and Tricks
- Marabu GREEN paint has good opacity. To optimise the opacity and luminosity on dark backgrounds, you can prime with white.
How it is done:
- Cover the work area well with paper and have the work materials ready. Clean the cabinet if necessary. The surface to be painted must be clean, dry and free of grease so that the paint can adhere optimally.
- Carefully mask the front of the cabinet body with masking tape.
- Then prime the cupboard door with the GREEN paint. To achieve an opaque result with a light colour (here cream beige) on a dark substrate, several coats of paint are necessary. For metal substrates, it is important to apply only a thin layer of paint each time and let it dry sufficiently before applying the next layer of paint.
- Once the primer has dried, the cupboard door can be designed with any patterns and lines. Finally, let everything dry well and remove the adhesive tape.
