Tips and Tricks

  • Marabu KiDS Little Artist is washable from 30 °C.

How it is done:

  • Cover the work area, lay out materials and put on a paint coat if necessary.
  • Cut off 2/3 of the first paper cup. Leave the bottom third with the base intact > this will be the base of the cup.
The top 2/3 can be cut off. See next photo.
  • Remove the 2/3 of the edge you just cut off...
  • ...and cut off about 1/4 of it.
  • Roll up the cut quarter and glue together with the craft glue. Then cut the top and bottom of the roll into a fan shape about 0.5 cm and fold the small compartments outwards. This roll will later connect the bottom and top of the cup.
  • Cut 2 long strips from the remaining large paper cup. Fold the top and bottom of each long strip about 0.5 cm inward. These will be the two handles.
  • Now glue all parts together with Marabu KiDS glue. Apply glue to the folded ends of the two handles and glue them to the left and right of the second (undamaged) paper cup.
Next, apply glue to the folded fan pieces of the roll and glue them to the paper cup and the base.
    Let everything dry well.
  • Paint the cup with Marabu KiDS Little Artist when dry.
  • It is best to let the first coat of primer dry briefly and then apply a second coat of paint. The cup will shine beautifully!
