Processing instructions:

Freehand painting:
Paint or write directly on the candle with the Candle Pen. The liquid wax then bonds with the candle as it dries. The instant application with the candle pen can also be painted with a brush.

Window colour method:
Place the desired motif under a sheet of foil and paint it with the Candle Pen. Allow the contours to dry briefly before painting. After approx. 4-5 hours drying time, the motif can be removed from the foil and stuck onto the candle with the Candle Pen glue.

Wax plates with stencils:
Choose any stencil and place it on a transparent foil, preferably fix it with a masking tape or spray it with Fix it adhesive spray. Cover the motif with a candle pen and a spatula. Remove the stencil and let the motif dry. After drying, cover the motif completely with a second colour to create a coloured background to the motif. After drying again, remove the colour film. Then cut the homemade wax foil to fit exactly and stick it to the candle with Candle Pen glue. Note: the side that sticks to the foil is the front side after completion.

Painting with paint tips

By simply twisting on with light pressure, the Marabu painting tips can be applied to all liner containers (Candle Pen, Pluster Pen, Glitter Pen, Dot Pen, Pearl Pen) and the Window Color painting bottle. They are available in the sizes 0.3-0.9 mm and allow delicate painting.
Suitable films for Candle Pen

Why does the Marabu Candle Pen not separate from the film?

The film might not be suitable for use with the Marabu Candle Pen. Ideal materials are plastic films made of polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), e.g. the special Marabu painting films or plastic pockets. Polyvinylchloride (PVC) films are not suitable. It is recommended to test removability on a small patch before painting large designs with Marabu Candle Pen.Drying time for Candle Pen
