Water-based pearl paint that dries as a shimmering half-pearl. The Pearl Pen is suitable for decorating light or dark textiles (up to 20% synthetic fibre content), but also for paper, wood, leather, glass, porcelain and much more.
Suitable for many light and dark surfaces such as paper, wood, stone, glass, porcelain and textiles (no fixation necessary)
Easy application directly from the liner
How it works:
1. Cover the work surface thoroughly before use and protect clothing accordingly. Try the colour on a separate sheet of paper before use. 2. Place a pad in double-sided textiles. 3. No fixation necessary! After a drying time of approx. 72 hours the colour application is washable up to 30 degrees, preferably in a laundry net.
Painting on textiles
When painting, ensure to achieve sufficient contact with the textile. Simply dropping the paint onto the textile does not achieve sufficient contact with the fibre and it would not be ensured that the textile is washable after fixing.
Washing out the finish / pre-washing textiles
New textiles must be washed at least once without fabric softener before painting. Finishes and fabric softeners prevent the paint from penetrating into the fibre, so adhesion after fixing is not guaranteed...
Double-sided textiles
When painting double-sided textiles, always place a piece of cardboard between the textile layers so that the paint application cannot bleed through. This also makes painting on fabric easier, especially for children.
Washing painted textiles
Always wash painted textiles inside out with mild detergent. Do not tumble dry or iron.
