Tips and Tricks

Before applying the Marabu Candle Pen to a large area of the film, it is best to test its removability on a small area first. Plastic films made of polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP), e.g. special painting films for Window Color or transparent sleeves, are very suitable. Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) films are less suitable or not suitable at all.

How it is done:

First, apply the candle pens in black and white to a transparent film and smooth them out with a knife. Leave to dry.
After 4-5 hours drying time, the shapes for hats and scarves are cut out of the wax sheets using a ruler and cutter.
The individual shapes are then glued onto the candles using the Candle Liner candle glue.
Finally, the eyes, nose, mouth and buttons are drawn on with a candle pen in black and yellow.
