Tips and Tricks

  • It is best to leave the stretcher frame to dry on a plastic sheet (such as an old plastic bag) so that it can be easily removed from the surface later.

How it is done:

  • The first step is to prime the stretcher frame with a thin layer of Marabu Super Cell Pouring Mix Titanium White to improve flow.
  • The Super Cell Pouring Mix colors are then poured into a cup one at a time.
  • The contents of the cup are then tipped onto the stretcher frame.
  • Now take the stretcher in your hand and tilt it in different directions to allow the paint to flow and run over the edge of the stretcher. Then let it dry thoroughly.
  • When the paint is completely dry, draw the star shape on the back with a pencil. The star template can be used as a guide.
  • Then use a scalpel (or scissors) to cut small holes in the canvas along the lines.
  • Finally, insert the small light bulbs into the prepared holes along the lines.
